It begins in a seemingly conventional way: a car accident in Hollywood, attractive actresses, spectacular sets, the dark side of the movie business. But a conventional story is replaced by unstoppable suspense, a “hallucinatory assault on the senses”: light, things, colors, movement, time and sound take on an uncanny life of their own and draw the audience into the film. Even after the movie is over, it´s hard to escape the images - like a (nightmare) dream.
