Dear cinema friends,

the open-air cinema INSEL is a guest in the Atelier Gardens on the southern edge of the Tempelhofer Feld. On the grounds of Berliner Union-Film Ateliers, we show independent cinema, current arthouse highlights, short films, documentaries and festival specials four days a week.

Big screen, cold drinks, comfortable deckchairs a super friendly team are looking forward to welcome you!

Atelier Gardens is a unique 2.5-hectare campus overlooking Berlin´s famous Tempelhof Airport. Known as "UFA Studios Tempelhof" and later as "Berliner Union-Film" or "BUFA", the site was home to the pioneers of film and looks back on more than 100 years of film and television history. Atelier Gardens is already home to globally active organisations such as Fridays for Future, Tiny Farms and WeChange. The campus is the first port of call for anyone who wants to initiate positive change in their field.
